Since April 1978, volunteers associated with Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care have been caring for orphaned and injured wild birds and animals in and around the Lake Tahoe Basin.

On Tuesday, April 15th, the South Lake Tahoe City Council presented a Proclamation to the organization with Tom and Cheryl Millham (Secretary/Treasurer and Executive Director respectively) accepting.

The honor of presenting proclamations, usually rests with the Mayor. However, for this instance, Mayor Mike Weber, graciously stepped aside and allowed Immediate Past Mayor, Kathay Lovell, to offer this gratitude of thanks.
