LTWC is a volunteer organization, and we need all kinds of volunteers to continue raising and rehabilitating orphaned and injured wildlife.
We can always use a helping hand during one of our fundraisers, which are a lot of fun and a great way to meet other wildlife lovers in the community! Or contact us if you have any other special skills or services that you can offer.

My daughter and I would like to Volenteer our time. We live here in Tahoe but my daughter spends sometime in Fresno for summer vacation. It doesn’t say on your website when the volenteering begins. Would you be able to email me specifics so we know if we would be able to help?

I found your site and am planning on moving to Tahoe in June and would love to be considered to be a volunteer. I have always been an animal lover. I don’t have any training but would love to help in any way possible. I’m a fast learner and happy to help!

We have our annual 2 day training seminar in May ” usually” the weekend before Memorial Day. Taking the class is required to be a volunteer at LTWC so watch for updates on our site for the exact dates. Thanks for your interest!

Ahoy there. Im Joel. Live in Tahoe. Would like to volunteer time services. No experience but sort of a Dr Doolittle. Have a van for transport.
I am a serious animal and wildlife lover, I have worked for a Veterinarian for 15 yrs, right now I am a certified Surgical Technologist AS degree and have worked in the medical field for 32 yrs, I would like to volunteer my time and knowledge to feed, clean, medicate, use my knowledge anyway I can to help all animals and critters. I am presently unemployed and would like to volunteer.
I am willing to take the course needed to work at your facility.
