These two photos show what progress has been made with Li'l Smokey's paws.  The one on the left was taken the day he came to LTWC, July 18, 2008. The one on the right is his right front paw, taken after 13 consective days of cleaning, treating and bandaging everyday. Sometimes, twice a day.  The paws are cleaner and are showing signs of regeneration.  SLOWLY, but surely!  Dr. Willitts informs us that the healing time for burns is a very long process and we have to be patient and see how Li'l Smokey to the treatments."
